Moving into a purpose built office/garage facility, Bristol and London, Head Office is located in Portishead on the outskirts of Bristol. Hulley & Kirkwood were employed to act in the client’s interest tailoring a performance specification and monitoring the installation to the client’s satisfaction. The facility was unusual in that it included office accommodation, a basement storage facility for the rental cars and maintenance garages on the ground floor. Effectively producing three working environments in one building.
The range of engineering services involved included:
high spec office accommodation including extensive A/V facilities
- lighting (office, garage, car park and security)
- Extensive security systems (CCTV, Intruder Alarm and access control)
- Environmental control (heating, cooling and ventilation)
- Life safety systems
Construction commenced November 2003 with the facility completed April 2004. Due to Bristol and London’s combined expansion Hulley & Kirkwood have since worked on Site 2, an expansion site to the original.
