Edinburgh One is a Development built in Edinburgh by Sir Robert McAlpine containing Scotland’s first fully automated car park. Offices provide net lettable area of around 5,000m² and the automatic car park means that searching for a space became a thing of the past for users. When drivers enter the Complex, they drop their car off in a pod and it is robotically transferred to a secure space. The car is returned to them within just a few minutes of paying on return. The Project faced difficulty due to existing ground conditions and uncharted site services but these were overcome to provide a highly sought after high quality Category A speculative Office Development.
