Project Title: Ordnance Wharf
Client: Queensway Quay Development
Project Value: £5m
Hulley contact: Gordon McInnes
Continuing the successful theme of the Cormorant Wharf Development, Ordnance Wharf consisted of a number of phases increasing in size, providing a total of 28 Apartments over three buildings.
Constructed on an existing redundant MoD Dockside overlooking the Cormorant Wharf, these prestigious Apartments form an extension to the previously constructed Town Houses and low rise Apartments that make up Phases One and Two of the development.
Phase Three afforded a private swimming pool and lounge terrace at the furthest end of the Wharf. Below the building car parking is provided with mechanical smoke and fume ventilation.
Using the same Designers as the previous phases, the Client benefited from the experience and synergy of an established Design Team. The introduction of a new Construction Contractor provided considerable time and financial benefits, without compromising the high quality required of the project.
The use of uPVC pipework throughout the installation provided saving on the hot and cold water installation and ensured cost in use best value was obtained.
