This Project which is due for completion in April 2006, shall provide a purpose built Juvenile Justice Centre in Bangor, Northern Ireland. The Project shall provide:
- Safe, modern and appropriate accommodation and facilities for up to 50 young people (both genders) placed in custody by the courts.
- Modern and appropriate working environment and facilities for young people and staff, which minimise any risk to their physical and psychological well being.
- Accommodation and access provision, which meets statutory requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.
- Appropriate accommodation to separately facilitate overnight and weekend visits by families.
Two of the key drivers for the project are to minimise energy consumption and to utilise the building services as learning aids.

- Solar control facades
- Photovoltnic integration
