Ayr Central is the 5th largest retail centre in Scotland. The £75m development opened days ahead of schedule and within budget. The new complex has attracted an additional 400 new jobs to the area and increased the weekly number of shoppers in Ayr from 136,000 to over 240,000 and during the summer months. This figure is expected to rise to above 300,000 people.
