Reeds Independent Day and Boarding School was founded by Andrew Reed in 1813 to educate children who’s fathers had died.

The school moved to the present 40 acre Cobham Site in 1946, providing accommodation for Boarders and a wide range of facilities for sport and learning.

Hulley and Kirkwood have provided M&E Design Consultancy Works for over five years to the school, including:-

*  Infrastructure reinforcement

*  Extended library facilities

*  Refurbished and extended dormitory accommodation

*  Music School

*  Outline plans for Performing Arts Centre           

The Music and Performing Arts Centres are funded through appeals and are proceeding as funds permit.  The Music School was opened by Sir Cliff Richard.  The fund raising continues for the Performing Arts Centre.
