Hulley & Kirkwood are the Mechanical and Electrical Building Services Consultants for this new Maternity Unit on the Crosshouse Hospital Site. The Project will establish a fully integrated childbirth service, meeting the needs of mothers and their newborn babies across Ayrshire and Arran.
The new Maternity Unit will be stand alone with a direct link corridor to the main hospital facilities, providing a 60 bedded Maternity Unit.
Construction on the new Maternity Hospital is expected to be completed in September 2006 and will offer the following services:
· Antenatal / Postnatal In-Patient Care
· Early Pregnancy / Antenatal Day Care Assessment
· Ultrasound Services
· Diagnostic Services
· Intrapartum Care
· Out-Patient Clinic Facilities
· Termination of Pregnancy Facilities
· Neonatal Services
· Anaesthetic Services
