As part of a £200m investment to improve local healthcare facilities, a new hospital was opened to largely replace the original Hairmyres Hospital on the outskirts of East Kilbride.
The hospital provides a broad range of Acute Services with the new hospital having two Cardiac Catheterisation Labs and will be the Lanarkshire Centre for Interventional Cardiology. There is a 10-bed Intensive and High Dependency Unit plus 364 In-patient Beds and 55 Day Care Beds. Hulley & Kirkwood’s role on this project was as Due Diligence Advisor to Funders.
