Hulley & Kirkwood were Technical Advisers on this new Secure Care Centre in the grounds of Stobhill Hospital shall improve services for people in Greater Glasgow who have offended due to a mental health problem. The Centre will provide treatment, medication, psychotherapy and group therapy covering a wide range of patient needs.
The new service also includes facilities for:-
• New community teams of consultant psychiatrists,
• Community psychiatric nurses, social workers, psychologists and occupational therapist
• New secure accommodation for thirty patients with serious mental health problems
• New longer term accommodation for forty patients with mental health problems who may need varying levels of security
