Project Title: Bells Pottery Student Village
Client: Victoria Hall Ltd
Completed in September 2003, Bells Pottery is a 440 room development providing en-suite accommodation for the students of Glasgow’s Universities. HulleySFM were appointed as Mechanical and Electrical Supervisors for the project.
Site inspection reports during construction were produced ensuring at all times quality and compliance issues were dealt with swiftly and satisfactorily. Commissioning proposals from the Mechanical and Electrical subcontractors were appraised against compliance and their ability to meet with the program timescales.
Witnessing of commissioning and testing along with O&M documentation reviews was provided ensuring the completion of the construction phase of the project was met with completion of useable maintenance documents.
Due to the nature of use, the site required witnessing and inspection from the Home Office prior to being given licence to accept students. HulleySFM participated in these inspections providing the client with technical representation and assistance, which allowed a potentially fraught process to progress without disruption to the contract program.
