The PFI Scheme encompassed a mixture of new build and refurbishment of existing school premises which is summarised as follows;
- 5 new build Primary Schools
- 1 new build Secondary School
- 4 Secondaries with large capital projects
- 15 Primaries with large capital projects
- 15 Primaries with smaller capital projects
- 7 Primaries with no capital work
Hulley & Kirkwood were appointed M&E Technical Advisers to the Authority in support of the new build, upgrade and refurbishment of 47 nursery, primary, secondary and special needs schools within the Northampton town.
Our role included drafting the technical performance elements of the Output Specifications and carrying out technical assessment of the bidders’ submissions and responses to queries.
