A 98 bed Community Hospital in Cumnock, Ayrshire includes GP Acute/Rehabilitation Unit, Continuing Care and Respite for Frail Elderly and Mental Health and Day Hospital as well as a comprehensive range of Out-Patient Specialist Services.
Hospital facilities include;
- 74 in-patient beds comprising
- 24 GP Acute/Rehabilitation Unit
- 25 beds Continuing Care and Respite (Frail Elderly)
- 25 beds Continuing Care and Respite (Mental Health)
- 24 Day Hospital places comprising:
- 12 places (Frail and Elderly)
- 6 places (Mental Health)
- 6 places (Young Physically Disabled)
A comprehensive range of out-patient specialist services will be available in the out-patient suite and the aim is to provide a one-stop consultant process where patients may visit their consultant, the diagnostic suite and the rehabilitation suite all on the same visit. The hospital will have 98 clinical and 29 non-clinical staff.
