Chepstow Castle Refurbishment

The oldest surviving post-Roman stone fortification in Britain, Chepstow Castle was built in the 11th Century and perches high above the banks of the river Wye in southeast Wales.

Hulley & Kirkwood are working with PDP Green Consulting Ltd for Cadw in the refurbishment of the Earl’s Chamber which has succumbed to damp and condensation problems. We will be providing a ventilation system to control the internal environment as part of the refurbishment, but will ensure it is hidden and sympathetic to the historic nature of the building.
