Phase 2 of the highly successful Glasgow Harbour project brings a well-established mix of high quality residential and retail spaces on the banks of the Clyde.
The £200m project consists primarily of 850 apartments which are constructed over a mix of both low and high rise, the tallest building being 22 storeys.
The project has a very high level of servicing for a residential project with fire safety being paramount.
Typical facilities include:-
- Fire fighting lifts and cores
- Smoke extract systems
- Wet risers with associated storage facilities
- Impulse ventilation systems over the two whole site basement car parks
Our involvement included provision of Performance Specification with additional duties (daylight simulation and shading analysis/Sap ratings/infrastructure/utility liaison) with full design being undertaken under a novation agreement with the M&E Contractor.
