Bathgate Scoops Award

Following on from the Carbon Trust Scotland Low Carbon Building Award 2012, Bathgate Partnership Centre in West Lothian scooped the Edinburgh Architectural Association Building of the Year Award presented on 12th April 2012 at the University of Edinburgh Business School.

Drama at Hutcheson's Grammar School

Hutchesons’ Grammar School is a long-standing independent school with an enviable educational reputation and a history stretching some 370 years. Its’ campus is located to the South of Glasgow City Centre. Hulley & Kirkwood were appointed via Project Managers, Arcadis, to join a professional team tasked with the design of a new free-standing building, intended to provide a focus for the school’s Drama department and curriculum.

Penwith College Redevelopment

The new Lamorna, Sennen & Gwenvor Buildings which form the second phase of the redevelopment of Penwith College in Penzance was recently opened by Lady Mary Holborow, the Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The £28m redevelopment providing both Higher and Further Education was carried out by Midas Construction with Hulley and Kirkwood providing Mechanical & Electrical design for M&E Contractor, Mitie Engineering (SW Region) Ltd.
