Passive House Designer Certification

Hulley & Kirkwood recognise that UK Net Zero Carbon ambitions will only be achieved by a holistic cross-discipline approach to building design and construction.
Our in-house energy, carbon and sustainability team Hulley Eco have undertaken training in Passive House, the world leading passive building design and certification scheme.
The team now hold Passive House Designer Certification and can now provide a fresh perspective on passive design techniques required to design and deliver ultra-low energy and ultra-low carbon buildings for the 21st Century.
The Passive House standard provides an exciting opportunity to shape the designs of future homes, schools and even more heavily serviced buildings such as research and healthcare. The approach places a focus on a passive design and buildability and where applied can bridge the performance gap and deliver truly energy efficient buildings.
Our next step will be to share the knowledge with our engineering teams across the UK so that passive design principles are reflected in our designs moving forward.
We look forward to shaping the UKs next generation of low energy buildings.
