Andrew Connor
Andrew is a Chartered Electrical Engineer and Electrical Director at Hulley & Kirkwood’s Bristol office, leading projects across the South West and Wales.
Since joining the practice in 2021, he has delivered a wide range of projects spanning the healthcare, public, and charitable sectors from small scale refurbishments and infrastructure upgrades to major new-build facilities and complex mixed-use developments.
He has extensive experience working across large and varied estates, providing long-term engineering support and trusted delivery for repeat Clients. Andrew has established lasting partnerships through his focus on practical design, dependable project delivery and clear communication, thereby ensuring our Client’s view that Hulley and Kirkwood are a genuine extension of their team.
Passionate about low and zero carbon design, Andrew focuses on cutting through “greenwash” to deliver solutions that make a real difference in performance and sustainability. He believes great engineering comes from curiosity, collaboration, and continual learning; personal values that he brings both to his project work and to mentoring the next generation of engineers.

I focus on keeping designs simple while embracing the latest ideas and technological developments. I work in an approachable, collaborative way with Clients, Design Teams and Contractors in order to make this happen.
