Peter Calderon, MIET
Peter has built an outstanding career in the electrical industry since 1979, beginning with an indentured apprenticeship and gaining invaluable hands-on experience on site. This practical foundation has given him a deep understanding of how to transform design concepts into successful, high-quality installations.
Based in our Epsom office, Peter brings more than 35 years of experience in building services consultancy. Since joining Hulley & Kirkwood as a Design Engineer in 1995, he has progressed through the business, culminating in his appointment as Electrical Director in 2026.
Peter leads multidisciplinary MEP teams across a diverse portfolio of projects, including healthcare, commercial, residential, stadia, aviation, Ministry of Defence, and custodial facilities. Renowned for his collaborative, hands-on leadership style, he remains actively involved throughout every stage of a project, ensuring technical excellence, seamless delivery, and successful outcomes for clients.
