H&K were appointed by Oregon Timber Frame to assist in the development of a new build office and proposed factory extensions at their main factory in Selkirk Scotland.
Under this contract, H&K provided mechanical and electrical design packages to meet the customer's requirements and provided consulting duties to ensure that all works undertaken by contractors were in line with the contract documentation on a Design and Build basis.
As part of this contract, Hulley & Kirkwood produced outline design packages to facilitate the following:
Oregon Timber Frame New Head Office – A new 2 storey office development with both open plan and private working spaces.
North Factory Extension – Factory extension to allow for the installation of a new automated processing line.
South Factory Extension – Factory extension to allow for the installation of additional worker station bays.
Car Park C – The acquisition of an existing public car park to be developed into a new staff car park.
New Public Car Park – Creation of a new public car park as part of the acquisition of car park C.
External Lighting Upgrades – Replacement of all existing external lighting to align with current standards.
EV Charging – Deployment of all new EV charging site wide.
