After spending the summer with our Manchester team, Angus Morris has now completed his placement with us!

During his time with us, Angus has gained hands-on experience in mechanical building services, developed his technical skills and discovered a little more about what life as a building services engineer actually involves...including the fact that it’s about much more than just design.

And it sounds like he made his mark too, with one particularly impressive placement moment involving getting a manufacturer to change their technical manual after spotting an issue!

Of course, it wasn’t all engineering. There were spud shop lunches and some rather unexpected discoveries about the hidden talents of our Manchester team along the way...

We asked Angus to look back on his summer with us and share what he learnt, what surprised him and what he’ll be taking away from the experience.
