We’re pleased to share the successful completion of our latest project at the historic Llandudno Colonnades.
The scheme involved the replacement of the existing lighting installation, which had deteriorated beyond repair and no longer provided safe or suitable illumination for this public pedestrian walkway.
OUR BRIEF: to deliver a modern, energy-efficient LED solution while carefully respecting the character of the existing Grade II listed structure.
A key challenge of the project was ensuring the new fittings matched the existing appearance as closely as possible in colour, shape and overall style; allowing the upgraded installation to sit sympathetically within the heritage setting.
From initial site surveys and condition assessments through to the development of a refurbishment strategy, heritage-sensitive design and construction support, our team provided a complete design service to help bring the project to life.
The completed project now provides improved safety, enhanced visual quality and a reliable lighting system that complements the architectural heritage of the colonnades. It’s a fantastic result achieved through careful planning, close collaboration and attention to detail.
