Our Glasgow Head Office was delighted to host the professional presentation and interview day for the first cohort of candidates undertaking the new LQ11 National Occupational Standard course for Authorising Engineers (Medical Gas Pipeline Systems), including our very own Graham Carracher, Lead of our Specialist Gas Services division at Hulley SGS.

Developed by NHS Scotland Assure in collaboration with EduQual and Qualifications Scotland, this new course represents a significant step forward in the standard of academic achievement for both practising and prospective Authorising Engineers.

Its adoption as the benchmark professional qualification will provide a clear and rigorous academic pathway for future generations entering the role, helping to strengthen standards across this specialist area of healthcare engineering.
