There's always something interesting to see when visiting a live project.
Members of our team recently visited Badminton School to review progress on an ongoing refurbishment project, where we're providing M&E design services through RIBA Stages 4, 5 and 6.
With the original glazed atrium roof being replaced, it's great to see the new structure taking shape and the project progressing from drawings and design meetings into reality.
From roof lights and structural works to electrical installations and distribution equipment, site visits provide a valuable opportunity to review progress, coordinate with the wider project team and ensure the design intent is being successfully delivered.
It's also a reminder that whilst we spend most of our time focused on building services, it's always interesting to see the work of other disciplines coming together on site.
Although, we have to admit... a tidy distribution board will always catch our engineers eyes.
We're looking forward to seeing the next stages of the project develop over the coming months!
