It's not every day we get to do this and with works now complete at the Portishead Open Air Pool, a couple of our engineers rolled up their sleeves to volunteer their time and help with the finishing touches ahead of the grand reopening this Saturday!

This much loved 33m open-air pool, a fixture in the community since 1962, has undergone an exciting refurbishment programme to enhance accessibility, sustainability and overall visitor experience and we are so excited to see the project ready to welcome people back.

Even more so, we’re proud to have played our small part of this refurbishment and to our members for getting hands-on to support the final touches, helping prepare the site for reopening.

Here's to wishing the Portishead team a brilliant opening weekend. We can’t wait to see the pool back in action!
